Cinema Shock is the last cult movie podcast you’ll ever need.
Our aim is to tell you everything you need to know about your favorite cult and genre films and the people who made them.
A typical episode of the show will focus on a single film, taking a deep dive into the creation of that film, from conception to release and beyond. Our goal to to cover the entire history of cult and genre cinema one movie — and one filmmaker — at a time. The majority of our episodes a part of multi-part series covering the careers of some of the most important genre filmmakers in history. While each episode can be enjoyed on its own, our listeners will get the full story of these filmmakers throughout the course of the series. We encourage you to watch these movies along with us.
We like to think of ourselves as a Movie Club, but one where you’ll gain a little more appreciation of all the hard work (and blood, sweat and tears) that goes into the creation of these movies.
